Environmental Awareness from Vertra Steel: İncirli Beach Cleaned Up
Vertra Steel, a company operating in the Ceyhan district of Adana, organized a large-scale cleanup event at İncirli Beach as part of World Environment Week, held from June 5-11. The event was carried out with the participation of company employees and local residents.
As one of the investor companies in the Ceyhan Organized Industrial Zone, Vertra Steel organized this event to raise environmental awareness and to leave a cleaner world for future generations. During the event, which saw a strong turnout from company officials and local residents, approximately 300 kilograms of waste were collected from the beach.

Vertra Steel Factory Manager Farshad Forouhan, in his speech at the event, said, "With the thought that the world is the common home of all people, we conducted a cleanup at İncirli Beach today. We were delighted to see local residents and beachgoers support our Environment Week activity. We need to be mindful of our environment to leave a more livable world for future generations. With this awareness, I wish all citizens a happy World Environment Week."

Local residents who participated in and supported the event thanked Vertra Steel officials and employees for their environmental awareness and for raising awareness.
